Mission
Build software to enable hybrid manufacturers to produce complex, low-volume parts with minimal rework.
Metal part manufacturers can't build fast enough. Hybrid machines make low-volume and obsolete parts on demand, but no physics tool can direct and correct the workflow in under a day.
Build failure and rework are roughly 20–50% of manufacturing cost. MachFusion replaces that loop with repeatable builds that are toolpath aware.
The software

One desktop application. NC program to compensated part.
Runs on a workstation. Reads your toolpath, writes a compensated STEP back to CAM. No cloud.

Layer by layer
Sheet 03 of 0803
Height and temperature, every layer, before the laser fires.
Shape and build distortion across the full toolpath. Process corrections made before the build begins.
Material physics
Sheet 04 of 0804
We qualify the material physics before we predict a part.
Single tracks, deposited and scanned, calibrate the deposition and thermal laws for each material and head. Every validated build feeds the calibration, so the next prediction is better than the last.
Deposit to datum
Sheet 05 of 0805
Qualified on real end-use parts.
Not coupons. Production geometry in 17-4 PH stainless, deposited and finish-machined on a Mazak VC-500AM. The prediction decides how much to lay down; the mill takes the rest.
Where the work stands
Sheet 06 of 0706
Validated technology. First pilot secured.
DED prediction
TRL 5. Validated on a Mazak VC-500AM in 17-4 PH stainless against scanned physical builds. Two of three print processes characterized.
Complete
Pilot with AM Solutions
Per-segment laser power modulation and geometry correction written back as STEP, closing the loop on the first production parts.
Underway
Part-level distortion, wire feedstock
From bead to full part, from powder to hot-wire and wire-arc, with in-envelope machining planned as one sequence. TRL 6 to 7 in early 2027.
